CBT Nuggets training, now powered by Adept

No, Adept is the platform that now powers CBT Nuggets training. We built it. Now you can help improve it. We’d love to hear what you think so we can continue to improve. Use the feedback button to report any bugs, or just to let us know what you think.

All CBT Nuggets subscribers begin migrating to the new platform on Nov. 4, 2024. Only completed skills will migrate. Progress on incomplete skills will not appear in Adept.

Every user (individuals, team members, and admins) will need to reset their password to access the new platform. At that point, all CBT Nuggets training will only be hosted on Adept.at and the current platform will no longer be available.

All CBT Nuggets learners who have active subscriptions can view the CBT Nuggets training library on Adept. To access courses on Adept, log in to your account and search for the training you'd like to watch.

Access to team management and team reporting in Adept will begin Nov. 4, 2024. Once your account migration has finished, you will receive an email and be prompted to set a new password and explore everything Adept has to offer.

Yes! All CBT Nuggets courses are available on the Adept platform.

Training time in Adept is calculated when you complete quiz questions. Adept focuses on the skills you are gaining as you learn. Every skill has an estimated time to complete, to include labs, questions, text, and video. When you complete the quiz questions, you get credit for the time trained to that point.

Progress is tracked as you complete quiz questions. When you answer the first question in a skill, you will be enrolled and be able to pick back up where you left off.

By default all accounts, including individual accounts, on Adept are enabled for multi-user features. If you want to study with a friend, share reporting statistics, or have your training purchased by your company and tracked together, you can add users to your “organization”. You can also join one or more organizations to enable group reporting and management.

An organization manages any subscription they pay for and provide to their users. With Adept organizations, users can have license(s) to a company provided subscription, or no licenses and only train with the free content in Adept.

The session limit is now set at 24 hours and we are experimenting with longer limits. Labs initially did not have protection against misuse. We have since implemented a firewall for lab machines, monitoring of hardware use, and screen recording.
