What Security Logging Options are Available in Azure?
Azure provides a number of different security logging options. These logs can not only help you troubleshoot existing problems, but they can also help you prevent future ones. Logs can also improve your application's performance and automate actions.
To get information about Azure Resource Manager operations, such as CREATE, UPDATE, and DELETE commands, Azure provides control and management logs.
To get information related to Azure resource usage, Azure provides data plane logs. These logs include diagnostic logs that you configure in Azure monitor as well as application, event and security logs of the virtual machine.
To get information about analyzed events and alerts, Azure provides processed events logs. This includes Azure Security Center alerts that get created after the application has processed and analyzed your subscription.
It should be noted that the use of logs can increase data, network and compute resource usage, so it can increase the cost of your subscription.
