PCEP is one of Python Institute's many certifications, all of which cover skills in using the Python language across different applications. PCEP is one of their general-purpose certifications, meant for brand new Python programmers or programmers who are experienced with computer programming and getting started with Python.

How much do Python programmers make?

It's almost impossible to put an accurate estimate on how much a Python programmer makes because of how many variables are involved, but data suggests that experienced Python programmers make somewhere between 70k and 120k per year. Where you work, how much experience you have, and what other languages you code in all affect the salary a Python programmer can expect. One thing stays the same: certified experience leads to higher pay.

Is the PCEP certification worth it?
