Is SMS a Viable Communication Method for Work Projects?

One of the most important components of project management is communication. Communication is vital to a project's success, but there are a lot of different ways to communicate with stakeholders. Which communication methods work best?

Though it is tempting to use communication methods like text messages to work with your team, it would be wise to choose a communication method that can be tracked. Communication amongst team members can act as an important way to track the history of a project. Likewise, if your team repeatedly faces the same hurdles, being able to reference past communications to see how those hurdles were resolved can help minimize those repeated issues.

There is no shortage of communication methods that act as fully featured collaboration platforms. One option might be Slack. If your team needs more robust features, Microsoft Teams may be another option as well.
