CERT NEWS: Citrix Recertification Program
Citrix now offers a recertification program that gives learners new options for maintaining their certifications. Under the new program, learners must renew their certifications before they expire.
Citrix offers two options to recertify your certification:
Attend an instructor-led training course; or
Take and pass the certification exam.
Taking the instructor-led course exempts you from having to retake the certification exam.
But here's the big news for anyone who may have an expired Citrix certification: You only have four months left to take advantage of the opportunity to complete an instructor-led course and forego the exam in order to recertify. The deadline for you to complete a training class is December 31, 2017.
If you let this opportunity pass you by, you'll have to start over again, including taking all of the lower-level certification exams leading to the pertinent certification you're trying to renew.
The affected certifications and exams are:
Citrix Certified Associate Virtualization (CCAV)
Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator for Citrix XenApp 6 (CCAA)
Citrix Certified Professional Virtualization (CCPV)
Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE)
Citrix Certified Expert Virtualization (CCEV)
Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA)
Citrix Certified Associate Networking (CCAN)
Citrix Certified Professional Networking (CCPN)
Citrix Certified Professional Mobility (CCPM)
