Licensing Structure

CBT Nuggets training videos are sold by default as a Single-User version with one Single-User Viewer License. That allows one person to use the training. If you'd like to train two or more people, a Multi-User version of the training with one or more Viewer Licenses is the most cost-effective way to do so. Multi-User licenses are based on concurrent usage -- each license allows one viewer at a time to view the training and the training can be shared between users.

Single-User Version Licensing
A single-user license allows one person to view the training. The training is licensed to that person only and is non-transferable to any other person. That one person may view the training on up to three machines. If someone else would like to view the training, they must buy an additional training package.

Multi-User Version Licensing
Designed for two or more viewers of the training content. The Multi-User version allows for concurrent viewing. The number of licenses you'll need will be equal to the number of viewers that will be watching at the same time.

Acquiring Viewer Licenses
To get a viewer license, Single-User Licensing only requires you to connect to the internet the first time you view the training. Because Multi-User Licensing allows you to share licenses between authorized viewers, you'll need to be connected to the internet each time you view the training.

Examples of Multi-User Version Licensing:

  • A library copy that is checked out and then back in
  • Multiple users watching videos in a classroom
  • Multiple users watching videos over the network
  • Training content passed from user to user
